MISSION
CITY PLAN is a biblical plan for uniting churches, ministries, organizations, and businesses in both strategic prayer and strategic action to impact the spheres of culture and disciple cities and nations. CITY PLAN works with leaders to equip and support transformative works within their region.
PURPOSE
The purpose of CITY PLAN is to invoke unity, prayer and activation to see transformative revival within the 7 cultural spheres of influence including… Family, Education, Business, Government, Media, Arts and Entertainment. By restoring biblical principles and a God consciousness in the land, the city finds healing and is blessed by God. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! (Psalm 33:12)
UNITY
The engineering principles within CITY PLAN stem from biblical “unity”. Unity is the structure in which the Lord builds. Everything in the kingdom of God is based upon “family” or being one with our Creator and each other. The more we understand the “functionality” of unity, then the more we will understand kingdom engineering and construction. When every leader and individual does their specific part, the Body of Christ in a city can make a tremendous impact. Kingdom unity produces supernatural power and multiplication! For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. (1 Cor. 12:12)

City Activation Teams
ACTIVATION TEAMS & PROJECTS IN THE SPHERES OF CULTURE
History of the 7 Mountain Theory – In 1975, Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade for Christ, Loren Cunningham, founder of Youth with a Mission, and Dr. Francis Schaeffer were all given a similar message pertaining to the 7 spheres or mountains of society which would need to be impacted to see nations transformed. For years now, Dr. Lance Wallnau, Os Hillman, Johnny Enlow and others have been used by God to further educate multitudes on these same principles to disciple nations. CITY PLAN brings the practical activation side of the 7 Mountain revelation so that Christians have a unified action plan for engaging culture to see the light of Christ in our communities.
Why does CITY PLAN use the 7 Mountain Model within their plan?
CITY PLAN founder, Patty Sodmont, shares… “Since 2003, the Lord has personally revealed Kingdom Engineering principles on how to establish the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. During that time, as we were preparing a blueprint for unifying regions, the Lord confirmed the 7 Mountain breakdown as the first compartmentalizing system for transforming cities and nations. By using the same terminology and building on these 7 Mountain principles already established over the years, we were able to bring a succession plan of action to what the Lord had already been speaking and educating in our nation.”
CITY PLAN works to activate within the 7 spheres of culture by working with churches to educate, unify, compartmentalize, and engage strategic prayer and community action teams within cities. The city-wide “CHURCH” functions at optimum potential when each ministry and person is doing their part. People can select their “mountain” of interest, and then each Mountain Team will have various projects and scopes of work within their department. We see incredible synergy take places when people gather from all over the city into the specific projects of their passion, ministry and anointing. This is when we see the multiplication factors found within divine unity begin to envelop a city and bring greater impact to our communities!
Care Centers
WHAT IS A CARE CENTER?
Care Centers are normally rent-free facilities established within a community. Many of our centers are located in low-income apartment complexes or government facilities. These centers offer FREE food, clothing, household goods, furniture, mentoring, school supplies, Christmas toys, and a variety of educational classes, as well as, children and youth activities and events. All goods and services are available to anyone qualifying within the county. Volunteers come from a variety of local churches and from within the community as well.
CARE CENTER HISTORY
We opened our first Care Center on 2/11/09 at Bayou Crossing Apartments in Riverview, FL. This Care Center was open to all of Hillsborough County, as well as, Bayou community residents. Individuals could receive FREE clothing, shoes, toys, food, furniture, counseling and more. Qualifying individuals received FREE USDA government food from the Care Center. (USDA is an equal opportunity provider.) Many lives were being transformed, and the Care Centers expanded into 7 centers within 4 counties in Florida.
